From The Las Vegas Review-Jounal, Dec. 31, 2004. "I'd like to start somewhere small, like London or England." Britney Spears on concidering doing a musical.
Let me first laugh at "London or England"...hahahahha.
Ok, now that thats out I am going to huddle in a corner and cry.
I want to write music. I want to sit down right now at my piano and write a song that people will listen to and remember and do the same thing every morning...for the rest of my life. - Jonathan Larson. Tick, Tick...BOOM!
you have go to be kidding me? Ahhh she annoys me so much!
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell

i cannot imagine her doing musical theater. Plus, London ( or England, whatever lol) is someplace small for musical theater? Oh, she also loves Wicked. Someone told me that in the back of her tour program she said "Be Wicked". I hope she doesnt get any ideas in her head...
Grace: I just gave a quarter to a homeless man. I think it was Johnny Depp.
"If she can be on Broadway....I can totally be on Broadway."
"If Troy Donahue can be a movie star, then I can be a movie star."
"Smart! And into all those exotic mystiques -- The Kama Sutra and Chinese techniques. I hear she knows more than seventy-five. Call me tomorrow if you're still alive!"
I totally missed the london or england part! I was just so shocked about her acting on broadway or anywhere live!

I was actually watching something on her on VH1 (it was hilarious) and they were mentioning this letter that she put on her website called "the letter of truth". It was about things that happened to her in the past year and how she was inspired by "some musical" *shows a picture of the Wicked marquis*
*headdesk*

You do not need to be a rocket scientist to be a Broadway performer. Britney is a FABULOUS entertainer. In the right vehicle, she would be incredible. She has a complete stage presence and that counts for a lot!
Entertainer is one thing, singer and actress is another.

Amen, Ganesh! She may not be the greatest singer or actress, but she's an incredibly talented and fascinating entertainer/performer and she's doing her thing and rolling in more money than any Broadway actor can imagine. Let the girl dream!
Love Britney for who she is, don't hate her for what she isn't!
P.S. I also saw her say in an interview on MTV back in 1999: "Before a show, I like to go into a quiet room and just scream. It opens up my vocal cords." Britney rocks!

Well, Littlefish, if she gets a job on Broadway it won't have anything to do with talent, as we've seen time and time again. It will be because she can sell tens of thousands of tickets. Can you?
Have I ever shown you my Shattered Dreams box? It's in my Disappointment Closet. - Marge Simpson
Britney might have prescence and ticket sales (enough to get her a part with the producers) but can she really sing a lead role eight times a week? Can she act it? I doubt it. She might be the queen of pop, but I don't think she can handle broadway. She'd get cast, but she wouldn't deserve it.
