Just wondering what everyone thinks of the current Mamma Mia cast and if people are sad with the cast change? I saw it back in June and thought everyone was fantastic! It won't be the same without Louise Pitre in my opinion. Updated On: 10/19/03 at 05:06 PM

Mamma Mia is a huge hit all over the world, and I'm sure all of the casts are great, and interchangable. I personally prefered the origional London cast.

original London cast?!? Are you kidding? They sounded like they sicked helium before recording the album...

Hoty is good.. I prefered Pitre and I wish Monique Lund had landed the Bway gig after Louise left..

Haven't seen Jennie Fellner on stage yet, but I really enjoyed Maddigan.

SOOOO glad to see Sara Inbar and Micheal Benjamin Washington go... they looked SO bored on that stage.. shame shame

Can't wait to see Tamara Bernier on a Bway stage as Tanya

I wish Robin Baxter from the 2nd Nat'l cast had been offered the role of Rosie on Bway after Kaye... or Annie Golden would have been hilarious

VERY happy Joe Machota is staying.. I love him to death.. talented, cute, sweet.. a really total package...

I am drooling at the prospect of getting back to that theatre and seeing Ryan-Micheal Shaw... hopefully I can catch him as Pepper.. but I still miss Chris Prinzo....

Yes.. I am not a Kaye fan in this instance... she is too static in the role.
VERY sad to see Tina and Louise leave the show.. hopefully they won't be away from Bway stages too long.

I just wanted to reply to this thread before I go off to attend the last 2 shows of this cast in MM. I saw the show yesterday matinee and let me just say that Tina and Louise are putting their ALL into their roles before they leave! I for one never thought Louise could sound any better, but yesterday she did so many amazing things with her voice that my mouth was hanging open. For anyone going to the show tonight..I think we should be in for a real treat! I'm sad to see the 2 of them go but I know Tina is going onto a tv show and Louise has some stuff planned as well.

Even though this show is extremely popular all over the world, and I admit, its appeal is not big names- I must say it DOES make a huge difference who the cast is. I've seen in on Broadway and I've seen it on tour, and I have friends who've seen it in London...You simply cannot compare! There is a reason why Louise Pitre was nominated for a Tony -she is phenomenal. I for one am really sad to see her go- and Tina as well.

Tamara Bernier was in the Toronto production awhile back and was amazing as Tanya. She'll be a great addition to Broadway
