Wow, I feel an overwhelming need to not only defend my school but enlighten you people about "scooter girl"

She goes to NYU and she is in the Undergrad drama program at Tisch. If you don't know how the school's set up, there are studios that teach different methods of acting mostly, but also directorial and technical work as well. I have the unfortunate circumstance of going to the same studio as said Scooter Girl. Not only is she a TERRIBLE actress, but she's obnoxious as hell. I'm not the only one who thinks this either. Most of the people who are in my studio want her gone. Unfortunately there's not a damn thing we can do about it. The phrase "When I was on American Idol" comes up way to much in conversation and she wanders around singing through the halls like it's her job. I am ashamed to be represented by her. I feel like she put out to the world an unfair picture of what people at Tisch are like. To say that something is "So NYU Tisch" based on just what you saw on that television show is just a little obnoxious.

That's my rant. Sorry if it offended anyone or anything. Just try to be a little more thoughtful when you define a person by the personality that her school imposed on her. Especially in a place like Tisch where you'll never find people working together with more different personalities.

PS. She's replaced her scooter with rollerblades... and still calls herself Scooter Girl. *sigh*
