Let's play 6 DEGREES OF SEPARATION....

Connect Charlie Chaplin to Michael Crawford in 3 degrees, or less.

Yours for a better Broadway!

OK, this might be a stretch, BUT...
Chaplin appeared in a cameo role in A COUNTESS FROM HONG KONG starring Marlon Brando, which he (Chaplin) also produced and directed. Brando and Walter Matthau both appeared in
1968's CANDY and Matthau, of course, played Horace Vandergelder in the movie version of HELLO DOLLY! which also featured Michael Crawford.

Chris, not a stretch at all, darn clever. My connections were...

Chaplin was the father of Sidney Chaplin who co-starred with Streisand in FUNNY GIRL. She of course played Dolly Levi to Michael Crawford's Cornelius Hackle in the film version of HELLO, DOLLY!

There ya go. BB

And The Little Tramp would probably have LOVED Urinetown!
