I went to Caligula tonight. I was expecting a terrible show. I only went because some of my friends dragged me. I was shocked. I really was impressed. It was better then Dracula, Brooklyn and was my favorite show at the NYMF. It has potential. The music and score are good. The story was good. The costumes were even pretty solid for such a small production. Every person in this show were talented. With some fine tuning this show could do well Off Broadway. I would like to see it produced. It was really a surprise.
Raul would make an excellent announcer. Euan was at his peak. I was very partial to the handsome man who played the head guard. Can we say GORGEOUS? I was drooling for him. Updated On: 10/10/04 at 12:37 AM
If I had the money I would put my own money in this show. But as we know as Producers: NEVER PUT YOUR MONEY IN THE SHOW. This show with work could be the next Rent. It is sexy. It is loud. It is fun. It is HOT. Rosie please PRODUCE THIS.
I loved Caligula. Sure, it's got some problems, but I loved it (especially the score).... and it was soooooo nice to see Euan again. That man is incredibly talented. The show gave me a renewed appreciation for that beautiful voice he's got.
I hope they move it Glebb. It needs fine tuning but on the whole it was wonderful. If only the theater was not as hot as hades. I was about to strip myself.
You mean it actually is!!!! Woo-hoo!!! Corine-I think a lot of people would agree with you about it Raul being perfect for the show. But he's already done stuff like that. And I REALLY REALLY REALLY like Gilles!
