John Simon about Melanie

Simon has certainly mellowed since his earlier days.........I have been usually surprised by his current tepid reviews, so I guess I shouldnt be so surprised that he doesnt bash Melanie. I think as long as someone is thin, he's happy! LOL.

Yeah, I think the fact that she looks good and seems like a nice person buys her a lot of goodwill...but really, they should take that "Original choreography for Hot Honey Rag by Bob Fosse" line out of the playbill!
