I must say I regret buying the Wicked soundtrack. I never did like the music, even when I saw it on B-way, so not sure how it ended up in my posession. Ah well.

Evita, definitely. I would say Wicked, but I got it for my sister. *sigh*

I don't really regret anything. But if I must choose, Footloose. But only because the last three songs won't play.

I LOVE FOOTLOOSE.

A LOT.

I think the reason I bought those was to expand my collection.

And I bought La Boheme because I was going to see it on Broadway with school.

It's too bad you didn't like La Boheme, millie. Are you just not an opera fan in general?

Nah, not an opera fan. I was going to see it with school. I normally wouldn't have gone to see it, but hey, it was an opportunity to go to Broadway without any hassle, and it was only $30 for the whole trip, so why not? Going to NYC has always been a great experience, no matter what I did. Just being at a Broadway show made me happy.

Virgil--what didn't you like about The Secret Garden, just curious. I actually haven't met anyone who *didn't* like the show.

fortheloveofeverythingthatssacred a cd with songs from a broadway show is known as AN ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING.

a cd that includes songs and the musical score for a movie is known as AN ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK.

okay, i got that off my chest...

...as you were..

"Wicked soundtrack..."

Don't you mean cast recording? Surprised no one picked up on that, since there are some people who get ticked at that.

Oh Sarah, nothing in particular. It was lukewarm for me. The score didn't just GRAB me. You know how it is. I found parts of the socre dullsville/a tad mealy. No offense to the composer, of course. To each his/her own. =-)

Wicked. The music was OK within the context of the show, but definitely not something I want to listen to while dusting.
