THEATERMANIA.COM PRESENTS THE SIEGELS' CD NIGHT AT DILLON’S
A Once a Month Celebration of Cabaret's Best CD's

On the first Sunday night of every month, TheaterMania.com and Dillon's Restaurant will come together to present and promote the best Cabaret CD's of our time. TheaterMania's well-known Nightlife Notes columnists, Barbara & Scott Siegel, will choose two CDs every month and will host a party in honor of the artists who created those top-rated recordings. During the course of each evening the artists will be celebrated for their excellence and will also display that excellence as each of them performs as many as six songs of their choice. In addition, the selected CDs will be played throughout the night and featured on the restaurant's sound system for the rest of the month.

The first such celebration will take place Sunday, August 3rd at 7 pm at Dillon's with the Siegels' first two picks: Put a Little Love in Your Mouth: The Songs of Amanda Green (By Hook Records) and Steven Lutvak: The Time it Takes (Pemaco RD Records). Both of these songwriter/singers will perform that night. Guest stars are promised, as well. Future CD's scheduled to be honored are Scott Coulter (LML Music) and KT Sullivan: Ladies of the Silver Screen (DRG). More to be announced later.

The site’s nightlife critics, Barbara & Scott Siegel, have been writing and broadcasting about cabaret for more than a dozen years. Dillon's, with new management and a commitment to cabaret, is proud to join with TheaterMania and the Siegels to help shine a light on the exceptional talent that can be found among cabaret's recording artists. In that spirit, Dillon's will do away with both a cover and a minimum for the CD night celebration. Furthermore, should celebrants choose to eat and/or drink, they will receive a 15% discount on their bill. Reservations are recommended (212-307-9797). Joining Amanda Green at Theatermania's cabaret CD celebration night hosted by Scott and Barbara Siegel will be her special guests JONATHAN DOKUCHITZ, JULIA MURNEY, JENN COLELLA and BROOKS ASHMANSKAS. Also on the bill that night is the wonderful Steven Lutvak.
