No coincidence. The Hairspray team has held many auditions in Baltimore and one they found one of the Seaweed understudies there.
She would make a good Dorothy -- the only problem is trying to match Stephanie Mills!

I was lucky(?)enough to see her on the last tour of The Wiz. She was great, but waaaay too old for the role. I would like to see her caome back for the revival as Glinda or Aunt E,.
Back to Danlle, I think she would have a totally different take on it.
