I'll just pick two of the newer composers of recent years: Jason Robert Brown and William Finn.If I was going to pick my favorite in theatre history I'd go batty. Jerry Herman, Sondheim, Kander and Ebb...On a side note - I wish we all could have found out what Jonathan Larson had in store had he lived longer than his brief 35 years.
