In honor of the show's closing, Ben sang "Waving" at his concert in Nashville last night.

So cool! I think that’s the first time he ever sang any song from DEH at is concert tours.

The opening moments, captured from the back of the orchestra by associate conductor Jon Balcourt:

I saw fans were given light blue baseball caps that say "Waving Goodbye to Broadway - 9/18/22"

I was also at closing! Those hats are soo nice, any time they have a major event the free hats are always a great bonus. Gaten was glowing after the show, maybe he's just a joyful guy but he genuinely seemed happy even though the show was over.

Intermission had a massive traffic jam in the orchestra because most of the older cast members were sitting there, but they seemed to anticipate and appreciate it.

Everything from Words Fail onward was so sad, you couldn't stop hearing the sniffling and crying throughout the audience. I really held on until bows, then it just all fell apart. I'm really glad I got to see one of my first shows close after such a long and healthy run. I don't think I'll ever forget that night, and how absolutely final every single moment felt. All we do see is sky, for forever.
