Wow…. I watched the first 10 minutes of the premiere without having looked at the cast before hand and realized a friend of mine is in the show. We’ve smoked lots of weed together…. And honestly I had no idea they even did Drag. I’ve seen them perform before but literally never put 2 and 2 together. My mind is kind of blown. Hahah
Damn, I loved this premiere. Kerri Colby might be the most gorgeous Queen to ever appear on the show. Watching Willow’s talent tonight, I KNEW Ru was gonna f’in live for it. I’m very happy for Kornbread tonight (she cracks me up).
That’s how you do a premiere episode. Give us plenty of time with the girls, throw in a wacky photo shoot, and give them all a chance to show off their personality in a “talent.” Now, the show’s definition of talent is shaky, at best, but this crop at least didn’t embarrass themselves with a crappy original song (Kornbread’s was legitimately good).
Was anyone else surprised when Kerri came out lip syncing to “Anaconda”? Looks like the producers are shelling out some dough this season to get more music on there. And again, I’m glad they didn’t force her to come in with a half baked original track.
I’m 100% here for Kornbread, Willow, and Kerri so far. Excited to see what next week’s group has to bring to the table.
A real surprise. A good solid return to classic DRAG RACE format, and shock of shocks, the person sent home deserved to be sent home.
So will this year's unspeakable no-talent show up next week for RuPaul to be inexplicably devoted to?

LOVED this first episode, I couldn't stop smiling the whole time. I will say that I don't think it's fair to make these queens do a talent show on the first episode. It's more appropriate on All Stars when they're already established. Some of these talents were definitely lacking, but regardless, it was an excellent episode and I'm so excited to continue watching with the second group of girls.
A fantastic return to form premiere. No gimmicks or stunts (yet...), just a bunch of drag queens doing their thing. And doing it well. What a surprisingly delightful bunch, too, all bringing something to the table. Kornbread and Willow, though, obviously made the biggest impressions- and rightfully so.

What a great first episode! Not to mention the return of the photoshoot which I missed having on a regular season. Also, the first group of queens were wonderful; Kerri, Kornbread, Willow and Bosco especially impressed me to keep an eye out for them. So excited for next Friday's episode which will have the next seven queens set to appear.
Kornbread made a great first impression -- she's the queen that the unspeakable Silky and the unbearable Kandi thought think they are.

Willow's boy look made me uncomfortable at first, but then we got the backstory. I think she's going to take a moment to grow on me. Loved her talent, but def. want to see more.
I'm sure the queen who got sent home will come back. Surely.
Another really good episode tonight! Loving this group of queens this season, and I'll bet you that the two eliminated queens will come back next week to be a twist alongside the "main season twist".
Yeah I'm curious how they'll bring back the other two girls.
Also, one a split premiere, what are the other girls doing? Just stuck in their hotels for 2 days?
Great season. No clear front runner - besides maybe Kornbread - so that always makes it interesting.
***Does anyone else watch The Pit Stop on YouTube? Isn't it usually out same day? I don't like the delay. I like to watch it right after the episode airs.
Last weeks was more entertaining for sure. 3 lipsyncs, boring. You're a drag queen, we get it, you can lip sync. Save it for the mainstage.
Yeah conflicted on Maddy too, but hard not to admire his confidence as I'm sure this going to bring a lot of negative attention on him from the gay and straight community.
This second episode was good, I really like the queens, but the talent was lacking in the show. All of the talents were pretty boring and unexpected. Say what you want about Willow Pill last week, but she brought so much uniqueness to her talent, it got everyone interested. I agree that the first two eliminated queens will be coming back in some way. Excited to see it all play out next week!
As for Maddy, I say go for it. He clearly has talent. His energy in the work room is already off though, which is funny to see. There's an awkwardness there that will continue into next week's episode when when the first batch of queens learn about his.....situation.
I actually was reading about how it's interesting and great to show a straight drag queen and how it sort of tears down the toxic masculinity idea, and I think that's pretty cool to see!
