Has anyone gotten rush tickets for Caroline, or Change? If so, where were your seats? I want to get rush tickets, but it looks on Seat Plan like the views from the mezzanine are very poor - are the rush tickets exclusively mezzanine seats, or are there orchestra seats too?

Honestly, I sat in the rear mezzanine and thought the views were fine.  You can take a look here: https://aviewfrommyseat.com/venue/Studio+54/

There are a bunch of photos of others who also sat in the rear mezz seats, I thought they were perfectly reasonable.

Standard warning that if you're over 4'10, the mezz legroom is pretty awful at Studio 54.

The only acceptable mezzanine seats are the front, like the first two front rows. Otherwise? Awful.

The reason I’m worried about mezzanine is that I’m 4’11 and the safety bar in the mezzanine looks very high - I’ve had difficulty with first or second row mezzanine seats before seeing over the safety bar (at most of the theatres I’ve been to). I haven’t sat much farther back than that in the mezzanine, so I’m not sure if the safety bar obstructs to the same degree farther back, but it’s a concern for me.

Hey forfive, I hear that! 4th row mezz there is awesome!! Since it’s todaytix, I suggest writing their accessibility line and asking advice. It’s very responsive and helpful! They’ll help you get the right seats.

(I should add, I have to do a bit of lip reading (I’ve sadly lost most of my hearing in one ear over the last few years) and I wrote to TodayTix about my concerns and they helped me secure Seats that would work. (Im fine in front mezz there). Basically, don’t be afraid to say you’re concerned about being able to actually see or hear the show based on something out of your control.

Though our theatres don’t quite offer the accessibility rates that UK venues do (seeing theatre there is a real joy for me haha), TodayTix seems to be trying. And while your height might not be considered a disability by law, I think they’d seriously consider your concern about that ridiculous bar.
