So after years of wanting and wishing I finally pulled the trigger and will be bringing home a new Corgi puppy in February. Thus I'm looking for recommendations from my fellow NYC dog owners on veterinarians. Ideally one in Chelsea or Hell's Kitchen (I live near Hudson Yards), though willing to travel a little further for someone who's really good.

Thanks in advance.

Not a recommendation for a NYC vet, but an overall suggestion.  I can't speak for NYC, but where I live, because of covid, many vets are making the owner wait in parking lot, and they take and do whatever to your pet outside of your view, inside their office.  Not all are doing this.  So that may be something to ask prior when looking and selecting.  Both my brother and niece had issues with their separate vets, because the communication broke down between the staff and the vet on what they were suppose to do with their dogs.  We are a family who likes to be in the room and observe/confirm what is actually being done whether it's a pet or extended members of family.

The Animal Medical Center 510 E. 62nd has never let me down.  I ended up here because many years ago my local vet could no longer help and referred us to specialists here.  I feel fortunate to know know they are always available 24/7.

Clinton Veterinary Center (now on) 55th St. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
