I called the theatre - they seemed to indicate that at the ends of the first row is handicapped seating. The middle is just regular seats. So I went for the first row.
The first three rows are way too close to the stage which is quite tall. I sat in the row C and it was the most perfect view. Basically any row C and above is fantastic. As someone already mentioned, you wouldn't be able to see the detailed food prep and your neck might get sore from looking up.
I sat in the front row, on the right aisle (bought when the accessible seat converted to a regular seat, $30/37 with fees). I couldn't see any of the food prep or cooking. A stainless steel prep table blocks the view of the stove. I could see chopping motions and stirring, pouring, etc. But I was so close, I had a great view of the performers. If you want to see the food, then sit further back in C or higher, but those seats are probably a bit more expensive. A great deal for $66 or whatever they are going for, though. Highly recommend this show from any seat, really.
Saw this tonight from from center row A, which is actually the third row. I could not see any of the preparation or plating but loved being that close to the stage.
Sadly, as I expected, the play is typical Rebeck: lots of sound and fury but no real significance. The acting was terrific, if a little shouty. The final scene was incomprehensible. Still worth seeing if the price is right for you.
After calling to change my seats from front row to row 4, the person I spoke with on the phone basically recommended I stay with what I have. Don't mind not seeing all the plating etc, since my wife would rather be closer to the actors (she's a big Raul fan, her facebook page has a pic of her and Raul! lol)...
