Multipurpose Props in Shows

I am putting on a benefit concert this year and as a budget-friendly organization I would like to purchase some props (big or small) and can serve different functions on stage.

It got me thinking, are there any shows where you were wow by the use of props especially if they were used different throughout the show. I know many blackbox theaters tend to do this but I'd love to get a list going.

thanks!

The blocks used in the latest revival of Falsettos comes to mind.

But those are set pieces, not props - aren't they?

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Technically yes.   But I think in the spirit of the question, it shows how an item on stage can be used multiple ways.
