Box office / will call question

So for my theater trip in August I have selected to pick up all of my tickets will call at the box office.  Here is my question:  Do I have to pick up the tickets the day of each performance?  Or can I drop by each box office anytime before the performance at my convenience to pick up the tickets?  

For example, if I arrive to NYC on Tuesday but am not seeing Harry Potter until Saturday, could I pick up my tickets at the box office on, say, the Friday in between.

Or if you purchased through TDF...they seem to only allow pick up in the 30 minutes before curtain.

I agree with what the other commenters have said. 

When I pickup the tickets the day of performance, the tickets are already printed and put inside an envelope. If I'm picking up tickets for a performance that is more than a week away, the box office would ask for my ticket order number and then print out the tickets right then and there and put them inside an envelope.

I hate when I pick up tickets during half hour and the box office personnel give me the tickets sans envelope (which they were already in) and then get annoyed when I ask if I can have the envelope (for ticket safe keeping until I can get them home and into my ticket album).
