So for my theater trip in August I have selected to pick up all of my tickets will call at the box office. Here is my question: Do I have to pick up the tickets the day of each performance? Or can I drop by each box office anytime before the performance at my convenience to pick up the tickets?
For example, if I arrive to NYC on Tuesday but am not seeing Harry Potter until Saturday, could I pick up my tickets at the box office on, say, the Friday in betwee
I had a ticket for my performance (I got this ticket on the public onsale date) for Row A side balcony for $165 per part.
I've been checking my date to see if anything better would show up - and today - I just got Orchestra Left Row G Seat 15 for $189 per part. I think the additional $50 is worth this seat location upgrade!
So I just canceled my Balcony Left Row A Seat 21 for the shows on Saturday, August 18 via online ticketmaster ch

Now I'm tall so I really am not worried about seeing over the railing but with the curvature of the balcony will I be screwed with my seat? I will be pretty pissed th

Really contemplating this experience as part of my theater trip this summer. The performance I would attend does not end until 12:30 am. Since this is in Brooklyn will it be a safe trip back to Times Square for me as my hotel is in the theater district. Any insights and/or advice would be most welcome.
Just saw her tonight with the KC Symphony here in Kansas City. She was beyond great. I have seen her numerous times before but tonight was just next level brilliance. Agree with others - go see her if she is coming to your city!
This has bugged me for a while now. CR sounds super nasal on the recording like her nose is plugged up. Am I crazy? Does anyone else notice this? Or is this how she always sounds? Needless to say I am always disappointed in the Jasmine dialogue and vocals on the recording.
I saw a matinee of War Horse, evening performance of How to Succeed, and then did the late night Sleep No More on a Saturday back in 2011. It was a long day, but it was not a problem to do all of that - and I am neither a spring chicken nor athletic.
At Sleep No More, I really got swept up into it all and did not really think too much about all the walking and stair climbing.
While I've already purchased Band's Visit, Hamilton, Frozen, Harry Potter and Carousel for my trip in August, I'm waiting to buy on this one til the end of this week. I hope someone who attends the first preview will provide some seating advice - would it be best to sit house right or left?
Well, this ticket order process was a disaster. On the initial Thursday ticket release, I waited through the queue, selected my date, put in the CVV code on the site, and got the message "Something went wrong. Try again." Which I did for four other dates, receiving this same message, and gave up. I then checked my debit card account only to find all five of these tries DID GO THROUGH. So I was charged about $1700 for tickets to five pairs of performance

Audience response was tepid. It was not for me. But I wasn't bored. . The movie picks up a little bit with the Titanic story. But until that point I found myself trying to adjust to whatever the hell this was on the screen. I did love Audra , Cheyen
Can anyone direct me to where I can find information on any scheduled vacations for Ms. LuPone or Ms. Ebersole? The official website was of no help - neither were telecharge and ticketmaster. Is this information available? Or do I assume both actresses will be in the duration of the summer unless they are ill?
Just got back from a theater trip to Chicago. At four of the shows - ALADDIN, HAMILTON, SPAMILTON, and SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE - the audiences were very attentive with no issue.
But, damn, at the tour of KING AND I, the audience was horrid - perhaps collectively the worst I have ever encountered. Here are just a few things that had me fuming:
1. Elderly Asian gentleman across the aisle from me during Act 2 ( there was a decent amount of empty seats and he move
I sat in Sec 3 in rear mezz in the very last row on the aisle with the runway thing in front of me. There is plenty of audience interaction up there. It really was a blast especially when I paid only $60 for the seat. Also I would agree with the poster above about binoculars. So glad I brought them to see the principals' up close.

I will coming to NYC next month and while I have bought tickets for the "hot" shows (COMET, DEAR EVAN, WAITRESS - Mueller's last weekend, and ANASTASIA), I am also looking to see SCHOOL OF ROCK. It seems as though current discount codes run only through March 12 - two weeks prior to my visit. Should I be patient and wait for a discount code extension? Is it likely that the discounts won't extend due to spring break season? If so, I will just pay full
