Both are on TDF and work when I will be in the city. I haven't bought any theater tickets yet for my visit next week. I always get great advice on here so figured I'd ask!
M Butterfly has been divisive, but the few comments I saw about The Parisian Woman said it was flat out bad so I'd go with Butterfly. (I was one of the few who loved it)
They were both pretty dull, I would honestly skip them. I enjoyed M. Butterfly more, the whole production is lackluster but it is a far better play. Parisian Woman is the worst thing I have seen this season.

Neither. There are some excellent off-Broadway plays right now. Torch Song and People, Places and Things are definitely worth seeing.
You should go check out some Off-Broadway shows! I heard Torch Song is doing well and so is A Clockwork Orange and Friends! The Musical Parody. If you're into Harry Potter, you should go see Puffs. Oh, and Jersey Boys is opening Off-Broadway next week so you can try to get tickets!
Other shows: The Portuguese Kid, The Last Match, Actually, Avenue Q, Tiny Beautiful Things, Sistas, Afterglow, School Girls, Sweeney Todd, and In & Of Itself
Also, Home for the Holidays just opened on Broadway so you can try and see that too! Just know that it's a concert-type thing and not a play.
