In 1911, one of the worst industrial tragedies occurred in NYC when 146 workers were killed at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory. Most of the lives were lost because the owners locked the stairwell doors so the garment workers wouldn't take breaks or steal materials. A heart-felt Off-Broadway drama that explores the lives of the women affected and the subsequent trial of the factory owners.
