For some weird reason my computer wouldn't let me hear them... maybe that is a good thing... but from looking at the pictures they didn't look too bad. What made them "horrid"?
I agree. I didn't like any of them. I don't think that any nominated in the first place were that good. But to narrow it down to 3 that I don't think are very good...
That's just my opinion. I really didn't like them, though others did.
Well, I think we can ALL say that those three won because they had extended family and friends that voted for them each like 50 times. Because they were some of the worst auditioners up there. And that Aliza girl...she was just painful. What can I say. They have lots of friends. They'll probably never be heard from again.
"I really liked the show--Wish I saw Boy's Night...Am I allowed as I am not a boy anymore:)"-duffyny1
Mediocre at best...they didn't seem to capture the meaning of what they were singing through actions or presence. Part of the problem could be quality of the tapes. Unimpressive, though.
I thought they were kinda bad. I hope that they're filling slots in the ensemble. And I'm not trying to be harsh... I'm jealous of them for getting as far as they did, so good for them for that, but..... I don't think I would have cast them.
I believe somewhere in the rules, it states that the winners may not be cast at all. I see this being the ultimate end of this situation. They just won't join the cast.
The only one who showed promise was one of the Jo Anne candidates singing "Take Me or Leave Me" with all her heart. That girl who won is such a sad Mimi. And the two guys werent the best. I liked the first dude singing One Song Glory the best, but he looked lost when singing it. I think these people need to take acting lessons before the head off to Broadway. They wont hire them anyway.
Yeah, I wouldnt say horrid. For the most part they could sing, some you could tell didnt have any formal training, but the acting- well there was none. You got to sell it and no one did. That Mimi girl just rolled over a table very slowly and went very sharp on one of her "Ou-ou-ou-ou-t tonight's." All they are going to get are some tickets to the show, a nice dinner, and a weekend in NY. I wouldn't mind it, but they arent going to be in the show. If any of them do, say good-bye to RENT.
