Online vs In Person

Has anyone on this board ever had the experience of both online & in person vocal lessons ? After college I moved back to my hometown and I've been struggling trying to find a vocal coach in the area . I'm considering doing them online but I wanted to see if any of you have taken them & can give me some insight .
