Has anyone seen this show? I know that it's from the same company that produced "The Play That Goes Wrong", which I saw here in NYC and had a good time at. I'm just wondering how Bank Robbery compares to that one. Or should I skip it and try another show on my visit...
Opinions differ. Mischief deliberately left off the "Goes Wrong' title but it's still a farce, albeit it with some plot. My spouse and I found it a bit tedious, with certain bits going on too long and too repetitive. That said, there are some brilliant bits - especially a sequence "looking down" on a room. But, other people have found the show more funny that Play That Goes Wrong. Be warned, though. Views from seats - especially side seats - can be obstructed. Consult theatremonkey for seat opinions and advice.
We went on a Sunday evening, when most London theatres are dark. So, it didn't replace any show we wanted to see.
