Monologue and Scene Study Learn basic techniques in breaking down scenes and monologues. Work with other students in establishing beats, moments, and creating a back-story for your characters. Brush up cold reading skills and practice your memorization. All students will come out of this class with at least one monologue for audition purposes, and the class will culminate in a showcase of the students’ work.
Theater Games and Improvisation Ages 5-7 An exploratory class of theater games and introductory improvisation for children. Students will discover their creativity and physical bodies in a series of games designed to spark imagination and develop awareness of the five senses.
Thursdays, 3pm-4pm
Acting 101, Ages 10-13 Basic introductory acting skills for students. Throughout the semester students will work their way through sample scenes, relaxation techniques, trust-building exercises, improvisations, games, and more as they proceed through the rehearsal process to the finished staging of a showcase.
Saturdays, 10am-12pm
Musical Madness, all ages, entrance by audition only Throughout the semester students will work together to create an original musical sprinkled with music from their favorite musicals. Students will write and choreograph the show themselves under the guidance of our trained staff. The class will culminate in a production of the students’ piece. Entrance by audition only.
Saturdays, 12pm-2pm

Tuition for all classes is as follows: All classes are $20 per week + $20 registration fee and $25 final performance fee. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the start of the first class. Refunds may be given up until three days prior to the start of classes minus the registration fee. No tuition reimbursement is granted after the start of classes. Total tuition per class for the spring semester: $245
