Saw or should I say experienced this show tonight. I say experienced because its a 50 minute show that takes place in a cab with just three audience members. If you enjoy things like sleep no more or Natasha Pierre, this is definitely something I recommend, super unique and the guy playing the cab driver is fantastic. the run is currently sold out but i was told they are planning a 3 week extension.

Do you buy a ticket or just pay the meter?

Yeah, do they take you home? I want to be taken home, otherwise it's not a good show.

im assuming your being sarcastic but you buy your ticket in advance.

also while you dont get taken home at the end you do get taken somewhere good at the end.

Take Me Home

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

That's super interesting. So it mostly just a monologue or what is the "play." Is there conflict? etc.

without giving to much away the play involves your driver for the evening Ace, ace has been doing this for along time, ace is looking for someone, a lost someone, and in the in between there are tales from Ace of bad fares, good love and chinese food. people outside your cab , are they actors or just residents of the city, as the piece evolves the city becomes a set and all who inhabit it the player. Inside the cab there are video and audio pieces created specifically for the show and hey you may even get some food.
