Will be in the city this weekend and was gonna try to get rush tickets.... how has it been lately? what time do people start lining up? if I wanted tickets to Saturday night, what time would you suggest i get there? Also - where are the seats located??
I rushed on Saturday(8-25) for the night show. Got there at 7AM and another person showed up within five minutes. Line didn't get really long till 9. By 9:15 I'd say all the seats were accounted for and the line still continued to grow. They have 30 rush seats per show. My seats were J 18,20 in the orchestra
It seemed as if most people in line wanted the evening performance
There were only about 20 people in line today at 10:00 when the box office opened. I'm considering rushing Monday to try to catch Max as Che. I'm wondering if it will be a little crazier since Evita is one of the few shows playing on Labor Day.
Just to update for anyone who's wondering... Went this morning. Got there about 8:50, and was 3rd in line. By 9:10, there were about 20 more people behind me. They had tickets for the matinee and the evening. Got row F, seats 16 & 18 for te evening show... They say "partial view" - anyone know how obstructed they are??
I wont arrive in NYC this weekend until Saturday night and I'd really like to catch Evita that evening. I'm assuming if I were to rush an hour or so before curtain, all seats would be gone. Any other thoughts, or does this statement seem to ring true? Thanks in advance, friends!
