Anyone see Mark Ravenhill's new play in the East Village? Isherwood seemed to love it. Based upon the review I bought very well priced seats for Thursday. (25 bucks!)

Any thoughts on the play / production?

Bumping this...'cuz I simply adored this show!

Really curious what others thought. Staging, acting, writing were all at a level I rarely associate with off-off(-off?) Broadway shows (come on, how many of us go to these shows to support our friends, only to spend the entire performance trying NOT to role our eyes...)

To see this story of "unintentional" scavenger artists devouring their friend, told with minimal props in such an intimate space, was utterly affecting. How wonderfully appropriate (and slightly meta) that the performance was held in the center of accepted cultural Bohemia: the LES.

I hope others here had the opportunity to enjoy the FANTASTIC show -- only a few performances remain.
