So I seem to have had my head in the sand since early December and have no idea what's going on in the West End. London bound again in a month and wondering what to see? Already booked Absent Friends but looking for at least 1 maybe 2 other options. I'm taking the Mother this time but she's fairly easy to please
So what would you see?

I am intrigued by Master Class and I've heard great things so a definiate possability.
I'm torn with Singin' as it's one of my favourite films so would I be disappointed?
Sweeney is one of my favourite musicals but at those prices impossible. Unless Michael Ball is personally cooking me a pie there is no way I could justify those prices!

RE Sweeney. Get the cheaper seats that are readily available at £20/£25. The prices are no more expensive than the majority of other West End shows. They are also gonna be doing front row dayseats.
I did look at those, but having sat in those seats previously (very high up!) I decided against it. Trying for dayseats is a possability (even if it means doing battle with the Ballettes )

Hay Fever is fun, a very good production with Lindsay Duncan especially wonderful. Day Seats are 25 pounds.
Floyd Collins is one of the great musicals of the last two decades and The Southwark Playhouse's track record for musicals is excellent. It is very intense however - it compares to Parade in that regard. Still, I'd recommend it.
