Just a random question: I was wondering, do any plays (not musicals) use a live band in the pit, off stage etc during the show? I know they're used for musicals, but for plays?

End of the Rainbow, currently playing in London, features a great on-stage six-piece band in the sections of the play where Judy Garland is doing her show.

All plays have orchestras. They are seats on the main floor, not to be confused with the mezzanine or the balcony.
