Hello everyone!
Forgive me if this has been done, I am totally new here! It seems the latest trend is taking successful movies and adapting them into musicals. Some fans love it, some just roll their eyes. I personally think anything could be made into a musical, if done correctly.
Anyways, what movie/book/television show...whatever...would you like be seen turn into a big stage production?
My personal thoughts are "Labyrinth", "The Devil Wears Prada" or "Velvet Goldmine" - wonderful movie if you haven't seen it!

I don't think tv shows (overall) work as they are episodic with not real begining or end.
This isn't really new -- musicals have very often been adapted from other sources. I think the part that is new is takin relatively recent blockbusters and simply tryin to cash in.
(FYI -- this has been discussed often. There is a search feature on the home page of the discussion boards.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
