Oct 5-17- Blue Man Group
Nov 18-Dec 12- Billy Elliot
Feb 1-13- South Pacific
March 1-13- Shrek the Musical
April 5-17- Les Mis
May 3-15- West Side Story
June 7-19- next to normal

Overall, I think it's a very good season. I would've rathered Rock of Ages and Hair instead of Blue Man Group and Les Mis, but it's great to have Billy and n2n.

This is a MUCH better season than we are getting in Louisville. Count yourself lucky.

Lucky. Better than Columbus. Might have to make a trip up there. We got Legally Blonde, Jersey Boys, Les Miz, Rock of Ages, Mary Poppins and Cats. Whoop...

Wow. All of the seasons are going to be better than the upcoming season where I live (which will most probably consist of non-eq tours and Cirque events). Be lucky that you're getting new tours as well as equity tours. I would kill to have any of the seasons mentioned. Be a little more grateful.

For some reason, Cleveland has a great reputation as far as allowing big tours to work out their kinks. Mary Poppins stopped here very early, and now Billy Elliot is doing it.
And don't get me wrong, I think the season is awesome.

The Playhouse Sq. complex is liked by big tours because they have plenty of back stage space for shows with larger casts and big scenes to work out logistics before they hit smaller houses. Only down size is the State and Palace are large barns with tons of seating, double letter rows are very common. One cool thing they are doing though is offering some generous discounts on subcriptions to fill these seats up and introduce new folks to musical theater.

Surprised ROA is not in the season, this is the type of show that Cleveland likes and would do very well. I am hearing that they are trying to get a long run of something popular that has played Cleveland already for the summer months, Jersey Boys sounds like the obvious candidate.
