Wow...I've been waiting for Glen Keane to return to animation for a long time. Even if it is as a director. This is bound to be a beautifully animated film if nothing else. Here's a cool clip of the hair:

the movie database says Kistin is just the singing voice for Rapunzel but it could be wrong..Lea Salonga who is a big name in the theatre world but not hollywood got stuck doing the singing voice only for aladdin and mulan which sucks.

I think Chenoweth is going to be a voice too, Disney knows she's big and casted her in Annie and Disney is also known for casting unknowns or Broadway stars in lead voices, Meg from Hercules was Susan Eganand she was more than a singing voice and Belle was Paige O'hara, it has been done before and I think they'll do it again with this movie(Plus Broadway stars have the animated and great singing voices that a lot of A-list actors don't have)

Another interesting piece is that Reese Witherspoon is doing her own singing in film about country western star Johnny Cash. She plays his wife and singing partner June Carter Cash. Her voice quality may not be right for Rapunzel but I am interested in hearing her sing.

I actually heard that this movie is going to blend traditional 2D style animation with 3D CGI. I remember hearing about that when it was just announced, and many posts on the imdb.com site is saying that.
