I think it's because they have a set number of seats set aside for lottery - it's not based on tickets sold.

We had Orchestra Row P Seats 108 and 109(last row). Pretty close to Center of the house. The theater is stadium style seating so there really isn't a bad view in my opinion. I think this is now one of my favorite theaters.

As for crowds, I'd say it was about 80-90% full last night. Decent for a Thursday night in January. There were 5 empty rows rear orchestra house left which made me wonder if perhaps a group had booked those and not showed up. Mezzanine extreme right was also empty but seats filled after intermission. Based on how the cast looked at the Mezzanine during curtain call, I think the rest was pretty full.

Well worth the $39 lottery ticket for this show. Had I not won, I probably would have paid for a regular ticket to see Laura.

I won on Thursday night (1/17) - probably about my 25th try. Holy crap the seats were amazing! We got M 307 and 308, so dead center. Laura and everyone else were terrific, and the set/costumes are so impressive! So worth the $39 if you get the opportunity.

I just won today 2/13 -- there are still lots of tickets available for tonight's show.  I've been playing a long time on a daily basis -- and like DEH, figured this one was just impossible.

seats were in orchestra row G, 509 and 510

but during the show Allan Corduner took ill and left the show mid scene.

Laura entertained the crowd for about 15 minutes before it restarted with U/S Adam Grupper in the roll.

What did she do?

she chatted with the audience, sang a song from her childhood, told a story from her childhood

she was funny and charismatic and they all had a laugh when the scene was set to start and no one new exactly where to start

I actually won around two weeks ago? My seat was so great-orchestra, left side,I think row D or F? A lot better than I was expecting for a lottery ticket.

Anyone have luck with this since it announced closing? Has it gotten any easier to win? Hoping to win on Tuesday!
