She tells the exact same jokes that she does in every one of her shows and on every one of her CD's.

Dame Edna only has 1 live performance cd. It's a 3 cd set of him doing Dame Edna, Sir Les Patteron and The Saga of Sandy Stone. Not sure what other cds you are referring to. Dame Edna had 2 cds from songs from her shows, and they are both out of print.

Did you see the show in San Fran when it was there from Nov - Jan? I saw it quite a few times, and there were a lot changes from San Fran to LA. The show also toured in many cities in before coming to LA. I'm not going to argue this to death, as there was a lot of new stuff in this show - a lot. For whatever reason, you're bound and determined to take this to another level, and make it something that it's not.

When you did your drag shows at The Revolver, did you never do the same joke twice?

I did enjoy myself - always do.

Why are you comparing me to Dame Edna?

Barry H has been doing Dame Edna for over 50 years. Hosting & mouthing the words to a few songs/musical numbers on the tv screen, on Musical Night at The Revolver bar, is no comparison to Dame Edna - you are absolutely right on that.

Dame Edna is an actual, established character. He has a very, very successful career doing these various characters and is a millionaire many times over - with touring, tv shows, etc. And, he's got a Tony to boot.

It's obvious that you are not a fan of Dame Edna, which is fine........to each his own. My advice is very simple - if seeing Dame Edna gets you so angry because of the jokes, then don't go.

I find her show to be the same thing she has been doing for the last 10 years. But I have had fun at most of them. Do I need to see it again? probably not.

He did have a new dress on. But then he's worn THAT on every TV appearance he's made since the show's opened.
