Band's Visit Rush  Apr 8 2018, 09:33:01 PM
Has anyone had experience with rush? It looks like all responses thus far are in regards to stubhub. I’ve seen some rear mezz tickets on stubhub for $40ish but I’m wondering if I would get better seats for the same price if I just do rush!
2017 Shakespeare in the Park  Jul 13 2017, 01:40:52 PM

Looking for someone psychic to help me predict how the line will be this weekend! It'll be my only chance to see this production so just asking for opinions. Based on the last post I'm assuming first weekend isn't that bad?

I've done it twice and had completely opposite experiences. Got there at 6 for Much Ado and got the last available tickets, got there at 6 for Cymbeline and was one of the first few in line. So just looking for a little insight!

Waitress - Standing Room  Nov 12 2016, 11:02:12 PM

Any updates on standing room? Looking to go next Saturday and if it's still selling out what's the best time to get in line? Or would I just be better off with those rear mezz seats

CYMBELINE at the Delacorte  Jul 28 2015, 07:00:49 PM

Any word on how the line has been? Last year I got in line around 6 am (on a weekend) for Much Ado and ended up receiving the last two tickets they had. There doesn't seem to be as much buzz this year and I'm going on a weekday so I'm hoping I won't have to get to the city as early. Any insight would be very helpful as I'm coming from out of state :)

I don't see why it would be awkward if 'Eden' did it? I'm sure she's probably friends with/knows people in the cast, the theater community is pretty close.

I really wish Megan Reinking covered Sheila, I think she'd be awesome.

Let The Sunshine In  Jun 30 2009, 04:26:33 PM
Yeah um, the telecharge tickets are too expensive for my liking.

And just a vacation.

Let The Sunshine In  Jun 30 2009, 04:22:08 PM
Hey guys, I have a few questions! a) I'm going in a couple weeks and it seems like lotto is usually crowded, so would I be better off just buying from the box office early and hoping I get aisle seats? I'd obviously be happy sitting anywhere but I'm kind of really hoping to get some interaction :)

b) If I decide to try lotto, I have 5 or 6 people lottoing with me (I don't think all of them want to go though) would I have that great of a chance? Or should I just not bother. I don't know

re: Why Are The Kids So Attracted To Next To Normal?  Jun 26 2009, 12:59:45 PM
I'm 15 and I've been following the show for a couple years. I just love it because it's something really unique, the story isn't something you'd usually expect from a broadway musical, I guess. I mean I'm not personally bipolar or anything, but it seems like you can identify to pretty much all the characters at some point, or at least feel for them. The music is great and so fun to listen to even if you're not at the show, and it has a really legit cast on top of it. I really like the whole look
re: Thoroughly Modern Millie -- Casting Non-Asians  Aug 9 2008, 01:18:04 AM
When my school did it they had a girl play one of the brothers because she was asian, and the other brother was white. None of they lines were changed so she was always referred to as a guy, but it mostly went over people's heads. I think people just had to stretch their minds a little for both things.
re: Jessica Lee Goldyn: ACL Revival's Final Cassie?  Jul 15 2008, 01:08:10 PM
Just to add on to the cast list thing:
Apparently J. Elaine Marcos got injured and they're not sure if she's going to be able to close the show. That is what I heard on saturday, so I don't know what's going on as of now.

And Heather is taking a 2 week(I'm pretty sure) vacation to do Dirty Rotten Scoundrels & she said one of her understudies will be going on, but she didn't say who.

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

I saw Kevin Worley from ACL walk by Second Stage yesterday.

re: Mario Lopez in A CHORUS LINE?  Jan 20 2008, 04:06:27 PM
I saw it too... but I thought he said it was something he would like to do, not that he was already going for it?
re: E Talk Soup & Xanadu  Dec 1 2007, 12:52:33 PM
I think it comes on again at 6:30. I thought it was funny, that's the whole point of the show.
re: What did Cheyenne Jackson's tattoos say at the Macy's Parade?  Nov 24 2007, 06:37:54 PM
I saw it yesterday and it looked like Amber to me too.
re: Who have you gotten stuff back from?  Aug 7 2007, 01:11:32 PM
Does Kerry Butler do fanmail at Xanadu?

I don't put a return address on it. But it would probably be a good idea to put your own just in case. But I like it when they write theirs on it, haha.

re: Xanadu Questions (Spoilers!!)  Aug 6 2007, 11:47:35 PM
I sat on the side, all the way on stage left, and I loved it because you could see their facial expressions and all. You're very close in it, and you can see them before they come onstage. And so many cast members came up to our seats, it was great. They come up right in front of you.
