Thanks for your recommendations. I wouldnt mind seeing Malcovich, but if the reviews are bad i might pass
I saw the Evita one that fascinated me, i think i saw Evita like 10 years ago in London.
FWIW by unique i meant shows not available in the US or shows that are running in the West End first that could make it to broadway.

Heading to london this week, we are going to watch the bolshoi ballet while there.
Debating if there are any other good unique shows in west end, many of the ones also on broadway i've seen already.

It was pretty popular when it came out if I recall, I never saw it or the tour but I didnt really like the movie so thats probably why. Dunno.
Feels soo weird when there is already a revival 7 years later, I assume that more has to do with the theatre no longe wanting it and another theatre does?
Was much changed between the musical and the revivaL?

I noticed they had the "special tickets" ... the ones that looked like fancy tickets and had pictures in front of the roses that Said Tony on the red carpet, so I assume they were someone they were trying to woo

Was going to put this in one of the other Tony Threads but wanted to see anyone else have this happen to before?
So I bought my tickets on Ticketmaster.com; got to the Awards show and the usher is like oh you need to speak to Frank ... he's like oh you have different seats now. I go ummm ok; figured maybe we got bumped up or who knows? Nope they gave us worse seats (in this case one row behind where I was supposed to be) And they gave some random people who were snapc

Course the difference is the Cursed Child is an original piece thats never been a movie and was written as a screen play. So while its from a franchise its very original.
Also its an amazing show all the way around. Didnt see the Band's Visit, saw Frozen and Mean Girl

Glad you got it.
Its interesting I think they grossly overpriced tickets this year. I almost held back just to see if the prices would drop. Also not releasing them last month anyone who wanted to fly and see the show they are basically SOL now unless they also want to pay a lot for airfare.
The 2nd mezzanine is maybe half full now

Glad you were able to do that. yeah it was weird.
It was funny cause initially I got a text from Ticketmaster saying "we have reserved tickets for you they are $1500 total and are on hold if u want respond in X min" ... I was like nope not that price but made me go hmmm in checking. y

we are actually going to be in NYC this year that weekend watching shows. Strangely enough Sweeney Todd is playing the same time as the Tony's

Back when Rent the movie was coming out this lady I think either walked out or was done she goes up to me (no clue why me) and was like "are you going to go see Rent" me ... "no I am going to watch XYZ",

Tell you what they want more ratings actual air it live for those of us in the west.
I stopped watching it because its taped and would get all the notices who won so i will tape it and fast forward for the performances.

No worries trust me its tempting ... I just wish they were the $430 tickets but they probably sold out in 4 seconds, unfortunately I was on my phone trying to buy tickets instead of thew eb page so I couldn't view seats (usually the apps run faster) hence why I went that route and was on the way to work (well gym first)

Eh I am not sure I think its quite the experience I've been twice and loved it.
That said I think its been since 2010 that I went and the tickets were 200-225 each.
And damn I tried to get tickets this morning but they sold out fast
