RMTC’s Youth Series Presents THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, 3/29-4/1

By:

Red Mountain Theatre Company Youth Series' production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee runs March 29-April 1, 2012, at the RMTC Cabaret Theatre (301 19th Street North).

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is described as "a hilarious tale of overachievers’ angst and chronicles the experience of six adolescent teens vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. This Tony Award-winning show is the unlikeliest of hit musicals about the unlikeliest of heroes; a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time." View the cast list here.

Show times are Thursday-Sunday, 7:30 PM, and Saturday-Sunday, 2:00 PM. Tickets are $20 (student rush tickets are available) and can be purchased by calling 205-324-2424 or visiting www.redmountaintheatre.org.
