ASF's Peter Pan to be Extended Through The Holiday 12/26-31

Peter Pan the Musical, the biggest selling show in the history of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, will be extended through the holiday season, Dec. 26-31. With the opening weekend nearly completely sold out, ASF has decided to accommodate anticipated demand by adding nine shows, four of which are matinees. Peter Pan the Musical's first public show takes place tonight, Nov. 19.
In 2007, Peter Pan the Musical drew 40,000 patrons and grossed over $1 million.The additional shows will take place on Dec. 26 at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Dec. 28 at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Dec. 29 at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Dec. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 31 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.Tickets for all Peter Pan the Musical performances are on sale now and are available through the ASF box office, on line at www.asf.net or by calling 1.800.841.4273. ASF is located at 1 Festival Drive in the heart of Montgomery's beautiful Blount Cultural Park.Peter Pan the Musical features veteran Sarah Litzsinger in the title role and ASF favorite Rodney Clark returns as Captain Hook. Litzsinger has performed on Broadway and in national tours as Eva Peron in Evita, Eponine/Cosette in Les Miserables and has the distinction of beingthe longest running Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. Clark most recently starred as Old Man in the ASF holiday hit A Christmas Story and as Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant in the world premiere and tour of Bear Country. Clark also performed the role of Captain Hook in ASF's 2007 production of Peter Pan the Musical.
