2014 heralds the return of Gabriel Rios! This gifted musician is in the heart of the news.
Since October 2013, he made up his mind to release a single every third Monday of the month! Its purpose is to gather all then, exactly one year later, an album entitled "This Marauder's Midnight." And he keeps his word! Each month, Gabriel Rios gratifies us little nuggets such as "Madstone", "Apprentice", "Police Sounds" and especially the magnificent "Gold", which was first introduced as the general public. This piece is a crystalline beauty and disarming simplicity! This month, Rios offers "Work Song," a great title, a vaporous travel between sweetness, guitar and power.
The amazing journey of Gabriel Rios begins in 1998 with Humo's Rock Rally and especially thanks to his encounter with Jo Bogaert (Technotronic) with which he made in 2004 "Ghostboy." The single "Broad Daylight" was a huge success and exports the raw talent beyond our borders. Performer talented, smart and sexy, Gabriel seduced disk as on stage with an explosive mixture of swing, rock and funk felt good. He won numerous Belgian and international awards. In 2007 released his second album "Angelhead" that squats to hit the charts again for weeks.
It was then that the status of pop star, Gabriel becomes more intimate and more in a solo musical artist or formula by collaborating with artists such as Jef Neve and Kobe Proesmans.
The last three years, Gabriel Rios moved to New York to work exclusively on his new master stroke, and what master stroke! The resulting album released in October. After a full concert at the AB in March and in the wake of a Belgian tour that is sold out, Gabriel Rios perform at the Cirque Royal in Brussels Friday, October 24 to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated "This Marauder's Midnight"! A live concert without hesitation! The presale starts this Friday23 May from 11am.
