Birds comes to La Monnaie this month. The performance is set for 17 September.
Et si, un dimanche matin, la routine urbaine de la place de la Monnaie était interrompue ? Après Tornar (2015) et INVITED (2018), Seppe Baeyens quitte les murs habituels du théâtre et envahit l’espace public avec des danseurs et des musiciens. Avec eux, le temps d’une courte performance, Birds, il relie ces artistes aux spectateurs et aux passants occasionnels, créant une communauté temporaire.
Dans des interactions ludiques, des compositions surprenantes prennent forme, encore et encore, où chacun semble influencer l’ensemble. Une chorégraphie généreuse et sociale, qui offrira des moments d’étonnement et d’imagination partagés.
