Way Off Broadway and Walkersville Southern Offer First Public Mystery Train
Earlier this year, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, through its outside theatrical producing division, WOB LIVE! Entertainment, and Walkersville Southern Railroad formed a partnership to produce Interactive Mystery Trains for the railroad in addition to its other excursions and dinner trains. Since the partnership began, these mystery trains have been offered as an option for groups booking the train for their private functions. Now, for the first time, an Interactive Mystery Dinner Train will be opened to the general public.
The mystery dinner train will be Saturday evening, October 22nd with a departure time of 6:00 p.m. Tickets will be $69 per person and includes a three course meal and the mystery. With Halloween just around the corner, guests are invited to come in costume. As with any of Way Off Broadway's mysteries, guests on the train will be introduced to zany, over-the-top characters who all have a motive to commit murder. When a murder does occur, it is up to the guests to help the detective solve the case. Detectives and mysteries are a huge part of our entertainment culture. From early characters such as Sherlock Holmes and Miss Marple to the countless number of crime drama series on television today, finding one's self involved in a web of intrigue and solving a case is a favorite past time. That's never been more true than at Way Off Broadway where the special interactive mysteries are some of the most popular events at the dinner theatre.
