In addition to its Mainstage and Children's Theatre productions, Way Off Broadway produces a number of special events throughout the year. One of the most wildly popular set of events is the theatre's Breakfast Series. It first began in 2003 with WOB's 1st Annual Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus). It then expanded to include a yearly Princess Breakfast as well as a Fairytale Breakfast. This spring, the Easter Bunny joins the fun with WOB's An Easter Bunny Breakfast on April 23, 2011.
The breakfast, which is an activity the entire family can enjoy, is on the Saturday before Easter beginning at 10:00 a.m. On hand that morning will be the Easter Bunny himself, along with his friends to entertain the breakfast guests."The breakfasts have always been so much fun," says Bill Kiska, Way Off Broadway's Executive Producer. "It's great to see all of the families enjoying themselves at Breakfast with Santa and with the princesses. We thought this was a good year to add another holiday character with the Easter Bunny."
In the past, tickets previous breakfast have sold out within only a few weeks of going on sale. For Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Claus), some guests even book tickets for the upcoming year as they arrive for that year's breakfast.
The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. on April 23rd. All tickets are $16.00 per person and may be purchased by calling the Box Office at (301) 662-6600.
