THE ODD COUPLE, LEGALLY BLONDE & More Set for Cockpit In Court Summer Theatre's 2014 Season

Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, Essex, in its 42nd season aims to break last year's record audience figures of over 1,100 subscribers and 8,000 patrons according Artistic Director James Hunnicutt and President of the Cockpit Board of Directors Jessica Phillips. And this year's menu of favorites - 'Peter Pan' (June 13-29), 'The Odd Couple' (June 14-29), 'Annie, Jr.' (July 11-20), 'Legally Blonde' (July 18-Aug. 3) and 'The Tale of the Allergist's Wife' (July 19-Aug. 3) - could do just that!

Cockpit is going for laughs in its openers - "Peter Pan" and "The Odd Couple." Performances will be given in the College Community Center at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard. Tickets are available from the Box Office at 443-840-ARTS (2787) from Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and an hour before performances if tickets are available.

PETER PAN
A musical based on the play by Sir James Barrie, "Peter Pan" will be performed June 13-15, 20-22 and 26-29 in the Mainstage Theatre. This high-flying timeless Broadway musical will whisk you away to a place where dreams are born and no one ever grows up! Diane Trowbridge-Smith of Lutherville, Md. directs this production.

Featured actors include: Jessica Preactor of Reisterstown, Md., as Peter Pan, with Amanda Murray of Silver Spring, Md. as Wendy Darling, Jim Knost of Baltimore, Md. as Mr. Darling and Captain Hook, Brett Klock of Bel Air, Md. as John Darling, Sam Richards of Towson, Md. as Michael Darling and Amber Hooper Pikesville, Md. as Nana the dog. Kerry Jungwirth of Nottingham, Md. is cast as Mrs. Darling and Nicole Smith of Lutherville, Md. plays Liza, the maid.

Cast as "The Lost Boys" are: Robby Meek of Annapolis, Md., Ari Montoya, Ali Radomsky and Max Wolf of Baltimore, Md., Matthew Byrd of Halethorpe, Md., Gizelle Harris of Middle River, Md., Sammy Jungwirth of Nottingham, Md., and Olivia Aubele and Dylan Morrison of Perry Hall, Md..

Captain Hook's pirates include: Wayne Ivusich of Joppa, Md. as Smee and Zach Miller of Baltimore, Md. as Jukes. Other pirates are: Hannah Bartleft, Emily Dowdell, Ray Einolf, Kristin Kreiner, Josh Schoff and Collette Simkins of Baltimore, Md., Kevin Logan of Ellicott City, Md., Sharon Byrd of Halethorpe, Md., Bill Pheil and Ian McDowell of Timonium, Md., David Minges and Connor Moore of Towson, Md., and Wesley Brown of White Marsh, Md.

Amanda Dickson of Cockeysville, Md. plays Tiger Lily. The other Indians are played by: Tiffany Flaharty of Abingdon, Md., Katelyn Blomquist and Erin Sullivan of Bel Air, Md., Zoe Feldman, Rachel Miller, Tyrell Stanley, DeVonte Tasker, Emily Wesselhoff and Colleen Witowski of Baltimore, Md., Layla Sartipy of Lutherville, Md. and Brendon Morrison of Perry Hall, Md.

THE ODD COUPLE
The Cabaret Theatre offers the perfect venue for Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple," an hilarious comedy about two men - Felix Unger and Oscar Madison - sharing an apartment after their divorces. The comedy will be performed June 14-15, 20-22, and 27-29.

Albert J. Boeren of Rosedale, Md. directs Chris Barsam of Bel Air, Md. as Felix and Sam Ranocchia of Edgewood, Md. as Oscar.

Other members of the ensemble cast include Thomas Peters (Speed), Henry Reisinger, Jr. (Roy), Robert Hitcho (Murray), Ray Lawson (Vinnie) and Megan Monahan (Cecily) of Baltimore, Md. and Katherine Ariyan (Gwendolyn) of Lewes, Del.
