Spotlighters Theatre & Baltimore Playwrights Festival Present HAMMARSKJOLD, 8/12
The Baltimore Playwrights Festival, www.baltplayfest.com, announces the opening of Fr. Ronald McKinney's Hammarskjold at the Audrey Herman's Spotlighters Theater www.spotlighters.org, 817 St. Paul Street, on August 12th.
Directed by veteran director, Lynn Morton, Fr McKinney's Hammarskjold tells the story of a man who awakens after a beating in Central Park convinced he is Dag Hammarskjold and suspected by the police of murder.
Featuring Robert Ahrens, Kevin Baker, Kerry Brady, Andrea Bush, Jeffrey Coleman, and Ron Decker. Stage Managed by Lexi Martinez, with Lighting & Sound by Chris Allen. Set Design (Installation Art) by Carrie Fucile.
Hammarskjold will run August 12th through August 29th, Thurs - Sat at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for students & seniors. Please order tickets at www.spotlighters.org
Fr. McKinney is a Philosopher specializing in Literature and Drama at the University of Scranton. He moderates the Liva Players a student-run theater group on campus. Hammarskjold is Fr. McKinney's first production.
