Photo Flash: First Look at THE OTHER PLACE at Rep Stage
Rep Stage, the regional theatre in residence at Howard Community College, continues its production of Sharr White's "The Other Place," through September 25, 2016. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!
Juliana Smithton is a successful neurologist whose life seems to be coming unhinged. Her husband has filed for divorce, her daughter has eloped with a much older man, and her own health is in jeopardy. But in this brilliantly crafted work, nothing is as it seems. Piece by piece, a mystery unfolds as fact blurs with fiction, past collides with present, and the elusive truth about Juliana boils to the surface.
This Helen Hayes recommended production features Scott Ward Abernethy (The Man), Julie-Ann Elliott (Juliana), Nigel Reed (Ian), and Maggie Robertson (The Woman). Directed by Joseph W. Ritsch, the production includes set design by Nate Sinnott, lighting design by Conor Mulligan, sound design by Billy D'Eugenio, costume design by Eric Abele, properties design by Dre Moore, and projection design by Sarah Tundermann, with Julie DeBakey Smith as stage manager and Erica Feidelseit as assistant stage manager.
"The Other Place" has a limited run through September 25 in the Studio Theatre of the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center on the campus of HCC, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, Maryland.
