$10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students

Elizabeth van den Berg, associate professor and chair of McDaniel's Theatre Arts Department, directs this high-energy rock musical, a spoof of science fiction movies and bizarre story of seduction and sexual confusion. Richard O'Brien's legendary cult favorite tells the story of two clean-cut kids, Brad and his fiancée Janet, who run into car trouble. When they spot a strange house down the road, they seek help. Little do they know that the mansion is inhabited by alien transsexuals from the planet Transylvania and Dr. Frank N Furter is in the middle of one of his unusual experiments. The show, which contains adult language and situations, is suitable for mature audiences only.

ART EXHIBIT

Zoë Charlton: Prime

Through Sept. 18, Esther Prangley Rice Galley, Peterson Hall

For gallery hours, call 410-857-2595

In the tradition of art that has a social purpose, Charlton's work tackles issues surrounding prejudice, privilege, racism and sexuality. Traditionally, her work examines the relationships of power and uses historical situations and images to place the characters in context. Their dilemmas and awkwardness arise over objects, such as 17th century clipper ships and suburban houses, or contemporary class images of gnomes, picket fences, and swimming pools.

stage: New Work by Rick Delaney

Sept. 22-Oct. 16, Esther Prangley Rice Galley, Peterson Hall
Opening reception: 7-9 p.m. Sept. 22
For gallery hours, call 410-857-2595
Rick Delaney, a practicing visual artist for the past 20 years, will treat visitors to a mixed-media art installation. Delaney infuses computer-based technology into his work, which he views as an extension of the need to understand and express his relationships with people and his environment. For his work, he draws from verbal communications, dreams, texts, sonic art, body movement and material.
