Laurel Mill Playhouse, located at 508 Main Street will continuing their highly successful improv classes with their 5TH SUNDAY IMPROV CLASSES on Sunday, March 29 at 6pm.

We will work on improving our technique for building a story in a scene, including creating conflict, expanding on offers, and having good endings. Prerequisite is completion of an introductory improv class or previous improv experience. Class will be structured somewhat like this (hey, we're all improvising):
· Brief review of rules of improv
· The parts of the story and how to build and expand
· Warm ups
· Exercises that will focus on:
o Give and take
o Creating conflict
o Ending a scene
· Using these concepts to create a funny "First Line, Last Line" performance scene
· Exercises and scenes will all be limited to one minute, so we can each get lots of work

Fee is $5 per person. Exact change encouraged (break a twenty at a store before class). Come on out and enjoy the fun! For further information and to RSVP contact Maureen Rogers at 301-452-2557 or maureencrogers@gmail.com.
