Prerequisite is completion of an introductory improv class or previous improv experience. Class will be structured somewhat like this (hey, we're all improvising):· Brief review of rules of improv
· The parts of the story and how to build and expand
· Warm ups
· Exercises that will focus on:
o Give and take
o Creating conflict
o Ending a scene
· Using these concepts to create a funny "First Line, Last Line" performance scene
· Exercises and scenes will all be limited to one minute, so we can each get lots of workFee is $5 per person. Exact change encouraged (break a twenty at a store before class). Come on out and enjoy the fun! For further information and to RSVP contact Maureen Rogers at 301-452-2557 or maureencrogers@gmail.com.
