GOLDA'S BALCONY Opens Vagabonds' 97th Season Tonight, 9/7

The Vagabond Players Theatre at 806 S. Broadway in Fells Point opens its 97th season with GOLDA'S BALCONY by William Gibson, directed by Miriam Bazensky and performed by Amy Jo Shapiro. The production will run from tonight, September 7-30.

In the tension-filled days leading up to the 1973 Yom Kippur War, Prime Minister Golda Meir reflects on her tumultuous life as a Russian immigrant, American school teacher, and political leader faced with the possibility of launching a nuclear attack on Israel's enemies.

Show times for GOLDA'S BALCONY are scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 8:00; Sunday at 2:00, with special performances on Thursday 9/13& 9/27 at 8:00. Tickets can be purchased online at www.vagabondplayers.org.
