Everyman Theatre Partners with Greater Baltimore Tech Council for 'Tech Crawl' Tonight

By:

Everyman Theatre will be partnering with the Greater Baltimore Tech Council as a "stop" along its "Tech Crawl" tonight, February 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The professional theatre company has recently moved into its new home on Fayette Street, part of the newly established Bromo Tower Arts and Entertainment District. The "Tech Crawl" will take place at various locations in Everyman's new neighborhood.

Inviting its members to get an "inside look at the unseen technology that runs Baltimore," this is the second time the Tech Council has hosted a progressive technology tour of a specific neighborhood. The "Crawl" will also include stops at Edge Web Hosting, the Bromo-Seltzer Clockworks, Catholic Relief Services, and the Mission Control Room of the University of Maryland Medical Center. The tour will wrap up with a "behind-the-scenes" technology tour and happy hour celebration at the new Everyman Theatre.

At the new Everyman, "Crawlers" will be invited to check out the new control booths overlooking the theatre, which house the light board operator, sound board operator, and stage manager while a show is being performed. Guests will also have a chance to take a "behind the scenes" look at the current set for Everyman's production of August: Osage County and will be able to look into the scene shop to see what is already being prepared for upcoming next shows at Everyman.

Tickets for the GBTC Tech Crawl are available on the organization's website, gb.tc. Tickets may be purchased for the entire event or for the Happy Hour at Everyman only.
